ASSOCIATION CROQUET HANDICAPS

How the Handicapping
System works

Competitive singles games only
If you win, you score index points.
If you lose, your lose index points.

How many points you score or lose
   is determined by your achievement.

In handicap-play you score or lose
10 points every time, but in
   level-play the points vary.

If you beat a player who has a
lower handicap that you, 'well done'
    - you score more points!

If you lose to a higher handicapped
   player than you, 'oh dear'
   - you lose more points!

When does my handicap change?

Your handicap is determined by your current
index score and changes when you pass
through the trigger point of the next
handicap mark (either up or down).
